About Me

The imaginative drawings of Disney and Toei’s 2D animation shaped my view of who I want to be as an artist. Once seeing how amazing animation could be, I practiced with drawing in my free time using references from these companies. Through this practice I developed a passion for drawing with graphite, pen and charcoal.
Once I began my academic work, I discovered other methods to build my skills that included digital drawing and animation. In particular, my multimedia work shows my personal vision and individuality. The complexity of Premiere was a challenge, but I persevered and completed an entire animation on my own. My multimedia work is all done with a carefully constructed story for the viewer to enjoy a plot of progression to learn about the subject. This would be my second strongest portion of my portfolio as there is fewer, but plenty of effort put in each film.
With all my works, I give clarity to my subject matter so the viewer can understand my intent while I strive to be unique.
